Distinguish paraphyly and polyphyly cases in non-monophyletic taxa, as suggested by @dwbapst

distinguishing intruders and outliers should come close to it already, so if a taxon has only intruders it is paraphyletic and if it has outliers as well, it is polyphyletic?
