Although we should keep this project on the compass I would not choose it for a first project. The biggest obstacle here is language boundary - we both have not been in touch with C/C++ for many years.

It would be great to host a programming language, but it's true that at this early stage, it's not enough with contributing on documentation or better branding only. We need to provide actual engineering support, and we're not that skilled on C at the moment.

Said, this I like the language and I think the author is awesome, so we can't still keep it in the compass, changing its badge status.
