So far this is my number one. There are many ways we can start. Better doc, monitoring scripts, cookbooks, etc.

+1

Although new and small, I think this project has a high quality, the author is currently pretty active implementing new features and fixing bugs, and it might be the right time to show our support and plans on contributing, before it gets either too big or abandoned.

Now that we are taking one step forward with rqlite, let's discuss and put together what are our first plans to work on. This is what comes to my mind, please expand or comment:

All sounds great. :-)

Hi @otoolep, wow such surprise! And we thought this was an internal, secret discussion

In general, do you like the idea of us getting involved into the project? Have you taken a look to what we're trying to do with @oscillatingworks? One of our most important concerns when inspecting projects is how eager will the author be to get people involved directly into the project, so it would be great to have your support and open collaboration ways for the future.

Github search is all-seeing.

Of course, happy to accept contributions to the code. I created it as a) to solve a real need, and b) learn more about Raft. I didn't have the need in the end, but the project lives on. So if you are interested in learning about distributed systems, it's a good to work on. If you search for 'rqlite` on github, you'll see some others are using it in the code already.

Your comprehensive, disciplined approach to picking up open-source projects is quite interesting, keep it up.

Thanks, we'll do so!
