TimThumb getting 200 status code instead of 304 #115

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Using FireFox with FireBug
2.go to http://demo.prothemedesign.com/wordpress/mimbo-pro
3.I notice 200 Status Codes instead of 304 after refresh in NET > Images

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
304, I see 200 instead

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Well in the example above I've pointed to demo of mimbo-pro wordpress theme, 
but I also see the problem in my site using version 1.15. I am using Windows XP 
Professional.

Please provide any additional information below.
I've just updated my version of timthumb.php from 1.09 to 1.15. Previously I 
was getting 304 Status Codes, though not nearly so efficient image compression.
