Bug BZ#2199 defined the osgi.extender name space. The DS spec needs to be updated to define this for DS.

The next version of the DS spec, 1.3, should define the following capability in accordance with the core specification rules for the osgi.extender name space.

Provide-Capability: osgi.extender; osgi.extender="osgi.ds"; uses:="org.osgi.service.component";version:Version="1.3"
