3 years ago Currently there is not way to set the shell independently from the theme version. However a plugin could be easily added.

Is it possible to independently set the Gnome "Shell Theme" and "Applications Theme" like you can do in
gnome-tweaksorhttps://extensions.gnome.org/extension/2236/night-theme-switcher/
