Sensor: Druckwerwarteschlange #5

I made a new configuration, to see if the printers are running well but
I'm getting the following error:

0:Impersonation of \admin failed! [1326] Anmeldung fehlgeschlagen. unbekannter
Benutzername oder falsches Kennwort.

I can't find the error or where I should insert name and password.

I'm using the german vision.

TThanks
Carlos

What is the (English) name of the sensor you are refering to?

Hi Gerard,

it is shown as "ptfsensor".
It is the sensor to see, how many print jobs are sent to the printer.

Hi Carlos,

This sensor is not on the Google Code project anymore, but now integrated into
PRTG.
Credentials passed to the sensor are the Windows credentials that are entered
on device or group level.

I do have one question though, are you working with a domain or a workgroup?

Regards,
Gerard

Hi Gerard,

I'm working in a domain.
But the username and password for the administration of the printer is not a
same one, like we are using in our active directory. Can this be the mistake?

Best regards,
Carlos

Hi Carlos,

The credentials used must be valid on both the PRTG server as the print SERVER.
You cannot use the sensor on a printer.

Gerard
