In the settings page of the MediaStreamer you can determine the maximum number
of streams the MediaStreamer will poll at the same time. Please try decreasing
the number of streams that will be handled simultaneously.
The C:\PRTG Tools Family\PTF.MediaStream folder is used for communications
between the MediaStreamer and the MediaStream sensor and will only hold
temporarily files.

Hi Sunil,
You are right. This was still an old version of the sensor. Somehow the newer
version never got published.
The new version (8.0.1.1) is online now, with a complete new approach and
rewritten user interface.
Note: this new version also requires the VLC player to be installed.
Regards,
Gerard

Hello Gerard,
Thank you for publishing latest version.
I just removed old and cleanup all temp files and installed latest, it looks
great with lot of new feature additions but I still see couple issues which I
am not sure if it is related to app or OS, again I am running it on Windows
2008 SP2 Enteprise 64bit (.NET 3.x installed as feature)
1) When installing/uninstalling latest edition, I see following error message.
I already have VLC 1.1.11 installed on machine.
---------
Error 1904.Module c:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Tools Family\PTF
MediaStreamer\axvlc.dll failed to unregister. HRESULT -2147220472. Contact your
support personnel.
-------
2) When I click on Play and try to close test player windows, I see following
error message.
-----
ee the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.
