"Overtaking is dangerous" indicator #11141

As idea, it would be very useful for driving at night time to have "Overtaking is dangerous" indicator.

It could be displayed as an icon during navigation when at least one of the following conditions satisfied:

N could be configurable, with some default, lets say 300-450 meters.

Probably several levels can be provided (dangerous / very dangerous using yellow / red background of the icon).

UPD: It should be applied only for 'two ways' roads, without physical separation / barrier between ways, when there is only one lane in the driving direction.

Overtaking (and other rules) should be inserted into OSM itself. All assumptions are nice reminders but could lead to an overreliance on application. AI could drive with such assumptions, but real drivers should focus their attention on the road ahead.

@pl71 I am absolutely agree with you that such indication never should be considered by driver as "overtaking is safe" and I also had the same thoughts (about misinterpretation) when describing this propose. However the common idea was to provide kind of extra warning (in some cases more stricter then defined by road signs) to driver when he / she for some reason assumes that it can be safe now.

It is very similar to existing warning about pedastrian crosswalk ahead, I found this feature is unique in OSMAND and definitely improves driving safety especially in night. Absence of the warning never says that there is no pedastrian crosswalk ahead (it could be just unmapped) but it is great to have the warning when possible.

Regarding "inserted into OSM" I also mostly agree with you if we are talking about physically existing road restrictions signs / markings. However, unfortunately, not in all countries these signs / markings are set everywhere where should be set by road maintainers. For example in Ukraine on many non primary roads it could be 50 / 50. BTW not sure if restrictions marked with double / single solid line currently can be mapped in OSM.
