There are several issues with the way OsmAnd attributes OpenStreetMap. In the following I'm citing the OpenStreetMap Foundation Licence/Attribution Guidelines online at:
The current attribution is found on the splash screen, but:
The splash screen is visible less than the required 5 seconds. On my Pixel 6 Pro it is visible for a fraction of a second. Maybe this was ok when it was first implemented but phones do get faster, so there needs to be a fixed delay of 5 seconds to comply with the Attribution Guidelines.
"The text must be easily readable and understandable, taking into consideration the font, size, colour, contrast, positioning and amount of time that it is visible."
"You may use a mechanism to fade/collapse the attribution under certain conditions:
[...] automatically after five seconds. This also applies to splash screens or pop-ups."
The text is not a link to the contributors page, or, if it is, it is not clickable because of the short delay.
"Attribution must also make it clear that the data is available under the Open Database License. This may be done by making the text “OpenStreetMap” a link to openstreetmap.org/copyright, which has information about OpenStreetMap’s data sources (which OpenStreetMap needs to credit) as well as the ODbL."
"If a splash screen or other method of attribution cannot link to the licence information, the link must be provided in an easily locatable part of the web page, software, or application (e.g. in the menu under “Data licences”)."
Once collapsed, the splash screen cannot be opened any more.
"If the attribution has been collapsed, the user must still be able to find the licence information if they look for it, for example from an ‘(i)’ button in the corner of the map or an ‘About’ option in a menu."
