wikimedia commons : give ability to upload pictures using OSM informations #15324

Description

OSMand give ability to push pictures using Mapillary. Unfortunatly, this webservice is not aimed for unique picture.

Describe the solution you'd like

Commons is able to give ability to push pictures using wikidata items and categorization that could already exist.

Describe alternatives you've considered

The app nammed Commons (Android) gives a very interesting way to find places that are missing pictures.

I don't understand what you want. Could you be more precise? Do you want to duplicate the way the commons app works?

1-A first step would be to do the same as it is done displaying Mapillary's pictures. Display Commons pictures and let like it is proposed for Mapillary open the app Commons.

2-what needs time is to name each picture. In my idea we could gather the good informations for this : Adress +number+city+country+ISO date

Maybe this is a similar apprach but for wikidata objects that contains geodata and that you can enrich with photos: https://wikishootme.toolforge.org
