Not active Bluetooth keyboard for Android Auto device #18606

Description

The case: we have Android Auto device for motorcycles and the Bluetooth keyboard for interacting with the map on OsmAnd. We started OsmAnd using on Android Auto. We run the Osmand app to test if the Bluetooth keyboard works. It works well, but only if on Smartphone is kept open the Osmand screen app.

But, when the screen of the smartphone is locked, the Bluetooth keyboard does not work.

Steps to reproduce

Connect the external input device to OsmAnd and start OsmAnd on Android Auto.

  1. The Smartphone screen is locked.
  2. The Smartphone screen is unlocked.

Actual result

the Bluetooth keyboard works only with an unlocked smartphone screen.

Expected result

the Bluetooth keyboard works with a locked smartphone screen as with an unlocked screen.

Looks like keyboard couldn't control device if it's locked, if keyboard would be connected to Android Auto that would make sense otherwise it would look like security issue for Bluetooth keyboard.
