I'll check what could be a viable storage solution. If I understood correctly we just need the result of the process of the pictures for GeoVisio, not the original pictures. So after process, the original pictures could be archived in a cold storage (that costs less).

That's indeed how it works I think. And if not it shouldn't be hard at all to make it to work that way ...
Investigate Geoviso : a replacement of Mapillary developed by OSMFR.

Something to take into account: it needs 1.5 times the volume of the pictures to process it and store the result of the process (10To of pictures will require 25To of disk space)
