Spoke to @jgeo64 on this and we're good to go, if it seems doable programmatically.
Thought about this a little more during a talk with another local editor and we think it would be good way to identify buildings that might be razed. Also, since many of these condemned buildings are bound to be razed, it would be ideal to exclude them from address point to footprint conflation, so that if the building is deleted, the address point remains (as they do, for the lots).
Didn't end up doing this under this project, could be done in future imports.
Adding an attribute for buildings that match the vacant buildings could provide some additional data, and help mappers identify vacant properties that the city is working to raze. These buildings may appear in the import, but in reality are razed. Local mappers can verify these conditions on the ground.
Any issue with adding the vacant building attribute?
