This change modifies the Docker build argument in the GitHub Actions workflow file .github/workflows/push-docker-images.yml
. The RUNNER_IMAGE
build argument was switched from using a distroless base image to an Alpine-based image. This aims to address issues related to running the cosmovisor Dockerfile, which failed due to missing file directory errors.

Closes: #8438
Cosmovisor image build was recently enabled and it was producing bad images on the prod repo. Changing the runner image to alpine should fix it as it is that one used in dev pipeline.
Testing and Verifying
This change is a trivial rework / code cleanup without any test coverage.
