Knowledge transfer #18

We should have @shaochengcheng and @chathuriw talk to see how Chathuri might help with maintenance and enhancements of the back-end in the future, as Chengcheng has less time to devote to the project.

Chathuri and @benabus will study the documentation, then we will schedule a meeting, also including and @filmenczer @glciampaglia.

It would be good for @ZacMonroe and @chathuriw to keep in sync as they are both learning about the code base and installation, and Zac is also updating the code to Python 3, and dealing with changes in Lucene/PyLucene.
