Needs to have a separate routine, rather than being part of ctsm_create_timeSeries. Also need to consider whether the data need to be converted to a wet weight basis before estimation. Increasingly I think the data should be kept on the original basis. Need to talk to a chemist!

See #443 Need to ensure that basis conversion is not called if there is no need to do so.

Also , should make exclusion a property of the distribution, rather than the determinand group
