The DRC terrain seems to use some shader for rendering the texture. When the user changes the viewpoint of the gazebo gui camera, the terrain often seems to move/warp relative to the gray grid overlay, although both the grid and the textured terrain are at the exact same elevation. This is confusing and will be even more confusing for stereo and VSLAM algorithms (provided the same warping also happens for simulated cameras, not verified).
