Closed osrf-migration closed 11 years ago

Original report (archived issue) by Carlos Agüero (Bitbucket: caguero, GitHub: caguero).

The original report had attachments: videoQ1.ogv, vrc_qual_1.zip

The score.log says I fell three times but I did five times :)

Attached is the video of the run and the log files generated from gazebo.

Software used: Gazebo 1.7.1 DRC Sim 2.5.2

The fall detector doesn't look for new falls within 15 (simulation) seconds of a fall. This is done to prevent counting a single fall event, which will involve many instances of high acceleration over a period of time, as multiple events.

In your video, at least one of the falls, around 5:40, happened right after another one, which would result in only one recorded fall. I'm guessing that the same thing happened elsewhere in the run.
