It is working on my Trusty system. Let me ask some questions:
Thanks!
1)
mike@mike-F3Sc:~$ sudo apt-get install ros-indigo-gazebo5-ros-pkgs
[sudo] password for mike:

E: No se ha podido localizar el paquete ros-indigo-gazebo5-ros-pkgs
ENGLIS: package is not found
2) 14.04
3) http://gazebosim.org/tutorials?tut=ros_installing&cat=connect_ros http://answers.gazebosim.org/question/8598/how-to-install-ros-indigo-gazebo-ros-control-with/ http://gazebosim.org/tutorials/?tut=ros_wrapper_versions
Sounds like you are not using the packages.osrfoundation.org repository and just the ROS one, which does not contains anything related to gazebo5 in Indigo, as describe in the ros wrapper versions document.
Please follow the two first steps described in the gazebo tutorial about installation.
We have followed exactly those steps·
Could you please paste the output of:
apt-cache show 'gazebo*
and apt-cache policy | grep osrf
ke@mike-F3Sc:~$ apt-cache show 'gazebo* and apt-cache policy | grep osrf
nothing
and
500 http://packages.osrfoundation.org/gazebo/ubuntu/ trusty/main i386 Packages origin packages.osrfoundation.org
Um interesting. Are you using a i386 system, right? What is the output of uname -a
and lsb_release -a
? and find /etc/apt -name *.list -exec cat {} \;
?
By the way, I suppose that nothing is happening is you run: apt-get update && apt-get install gazebo5
right?
gazebo5 is installed and update displays nothing
