Sam or James is looking at adding a tutorial based on their experiences adding the ur10 model to gazebo.

This tutorial has some instructions on how to contribute to the model database.

That tutorial seems to be misleading a lot of people though. I'd say that most of the declined pull requests to gazebo_models were a consequence of that tutorial being misinterpreted. Not sure how, but we could try to improve it.

changed state from "new" to "resolved"

Pull request #425 has updated the tutorial so it's clear to the user that their pull request won't be merged, and clear to us that the pull request came from the tutorial. You can see that the latest declined PRs have been processed quickly.

As for contributing to the Propshop - which has been rebranded to Ignition Fuel, this should be the reference for users.
