It looks like there's an aircraft name and we can set the cwd to something in tmp http://ardupilot.org/dev/docs/using-sitl-for-ardupilot-testing.html http://wiki.ros.org/roslaunch/XML/node

ROS_HOME for arducopter fixes eeprom but not tlog ^^^^^^
