Add members save button does not do anything?

Is it correct that the save button should not do anything? I accidentally pressed it but nothing happened.

that email will be added to the group, and when the other person signup, they will also see the group

Oh okay, but if they already are a member and you press save, nothing happens?

Just making sure: -> not a member and you press save: they are added once they register -> a member you press save: nothing happens but it works to add if you press "Add to Splitpro" button.

Is that correct?
