There was an idea positioned to see merge rate, comments, etc for new-ish contributors vs. one who have been in the project for a while. One thing that does come to mind is if this will be able to show the disparity when there could be a contributors who are not considered a part of the "core" (a part of a company, social group, etc) that may be technically active on the repository for a while but not a part of the inner circle of the community.
