The Great Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Distribution Project of the Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF). We work to distribute hardware MFA tokens to critical open source software (OSS) projects.
Sometimes people say "key", sometimes "token".
Inconsistent terminology is confusing.
Let's use "token" when we specifically mean the hardware token,
and use "key" when we more generically mean some sort of data
for authentication beyond a password.
