For New Users/Managers:

• [ ] create an ssh key (e.g. via: https://www.drupal.org/node/1070130)
• • [ ] create with no passphrase
• • [ ] send ssh key to server admin (josh gum for now)

Login to Torrent Server:

• [ ] ssh bt@lib-bt.library.oregonstate.edu
• [ ] if this doesn't automatically login to the server, contact admin (josh gum)

To Load New Content to the Torrent Server:

• [ ] copy file to server:

• • [ ] go to directory of the file you wish to copy to the server
• • [ ] scp foo.txt bt@lib-bt.library.oregonstate.edu:/preserve1/transmission/data

• [ ] generate a .torrent file:

• • [ ] on the logged in server: transmission-create --private -o "/preserve1/transmission/torrents/foo.torrent" -c "Windows Server 2008 R2 image" -t "http://lib-bt.library.oregonstate.edu:80/announce.php" "/preserve1/transmission/data/foo.txt"

• [ ] register the .torrent file with the torrent tracker (once the torrent file has been created):

• • [ ] transmission-remote -n 'transmission:transmission' -a /preserve1/transmission/torrents/foo.torrent
