OSL Dashboard

Easy:

• [ ] Countdown to Barcamps
• [ ] GitHub metrics, e.g:
  • Open PRs
  • Most starred/forked OSL repos in n days
  • Non-employee contributions to OSL repos
• [ ] RT metrics
  • Number of new tickets
  • Number of open tickets
  • Number of closed tickets in the past week
  • Number of tickets in each queue
  • [ ] Nagios metrics
  • Host/Service Problems
  • [ ] PagerDuty metrics
  • [ ] How many employees are checked in
  • [ ] OpenStack instances

Intermediate:

• [ ] FTP statistics (number of downloads, etc.)
• [ ] Perhaps a new Nagios plugin to replace the "legacy" one?
• [ ] Track coffee usage and donations?
• [ ] Track who's on-call using PagerDuty.

Difficult:

• [ ] Some way to map who is and isn't in the office?

@LyonesGamer I have started to work on a coffee usage/donations tool already. I can try and integrate it with fenestra.

Technically, support tickets and openstack instances aren't part of github.

I'm also wondering if a Google analytics summary stat for http://osuosl.org is feasible. https://gist.github.com/mtowers/5986576 looks like a decent start.

What would we show with IPMI?

We had no idea either, it was just pulled from #13. I think it might have been related to the IGOR project, but if it's not documented well enough that anyone can recall why it would be useful I think we should just remove it from the list.

I vote to remove it as I don't see what value it would add to the dashboard.
