How about at https://streamwebs.org/register/ we put a paragraph such as:

Educators, please register to fully access the Streamwebs site. Use this form to create an account associated with your email address, and select the school or organization with which you are associated. If your school/organization is not already registered with Streamwebs, you can create a [new organization] account.

As an Editor of [an organization], you will then be able to create Contributor accounts that your students can use to input data they have collected from sites in Oregon. Contributor accounts consist of a username (example: HonorsBiology) and password that can be shared across many students.

NOTE: The parts in brackets mean that you should use the best/consistent word used to describe this. If there are any rules about whether or not you can use capital letters or spaces, that should be noted as well.
