The nylon standoffs on the topplate are not trustworthy to depend on if the whole weight of the quadcopter were applied during a fall. The standoffs need to be replaced with a 3d print or aluminum bracket to ensure rigid strength. This would then allow the use of a nice fishing rod for catching the quadcopter from the top.
