Just converted some Windows VSTs yesterday with LinVst to use in a new Linux workstation set up. Everything seems to have worked fine (it really is a straightforward process, which is great) and my plugins show up both in Ardour and Carla as expected.
The thing is, when I change presets the GUIs do not update--knob and switch positions to do not change to reflect the new settings. In Carla, the 'proxy' interface that shows up in the rack for each plugin does have it's controls update, and in both Carla and Ardour, the plugins' own GUI controls will update once clicked on (which is fine for knobs, but not great for switches because it's not always clear if you've switched it out of where it should be). Any ideas what could be causing this, and if there's a fix?
The plugins I am using are all Variety of Sound: Density III, ThrillseekerVBL, epicVerb, etc. I used an earlier version of LinVst a year or two ago with these same plugins and I don't remember having any issues.
