Request: Diff / Version #100

I'd like to request a diff function showing the difference between the file i am editing and a arbitrary file and as an extension to show difference between the file being edited and the original as opened thus showing the changes I made. The latter could be accomplished by making a temporary copy when opening a file for comparison.

Hmm... This is an interesting idea.

Perhaps this could also be implemented as a plugin. I'll see what can be done and how! :)

Yes, diff is really needed.
