CM4, directional pad and game selection #17

First issue: when selecting a system on RetroPie, the x button push starts the first game automatically. Almost like the system is doing a double click.

Second issue: The direction pad is skipping on any list or menu. Example when selecting systems left or right it skips ever other. Or when in a game list it skips ever other game up or donwn?

Any solutions to both these issue? PSPi runs PS1 amazingly! Thank you for this amazing project!!

What you're describing sounds like the gamepad driver is loading twice and doubling all inputs. Are you using my image? Have you tried any other images?

I am using your image. Transfered over the three folders and made the modifications to the config file.

Should I not mod the config file and not bring over the folders?

That may be where the problem is. My image already has all that done, and you probably duplicated it. None of that is needed on my premade image. You able to start fresh with the image again?

Is wifi transfer the only way to load games into the cm4 lite?

Problem solved. Unit is working wonderfully!

Noticed that my analog stick and the right directional pad was not working. Turned out the 3D printed protector was too thick. I just used electrical tape instead and problem solved.

No need to replace the protector.

Will the CM5 be drop in? They just confirmed its being worked on. Would be so cool to have portable PS2 and GameCube!

I hope the CM5 will be drop-in, but won't know until I get one.
