Transferability of models between CIC-IDS2017 and CIC-IDS2018 #1

Have you had a chance to check the transferability of the models between the 2017 and 2018 datasets?

This has been investigated partly in https://github.com/cstub/ml-ids and https://github.com/marcindulak/nd00333-capstone

To be honest, I haven't checked the transferability of the models between CIC-IDS-2017 & CIC-IDS-2018. However, It shouldn't be a problem at all.

I found transferabliity issues, this is the reason I'm asking. If they are confirmed, a further work in the direction of CIC-IDS may be not worthwhile. I'm interested in your findings.
