Despite the name Plasma Browser Integration is neither KDE nor Plasma only. It can be used on any or no DE. As a PoC I successfully installed it on XFCE.

Well, if you say so. Just a question though, doesn't it get kind of... annoying? Seeing as it seems to work with any kind of <video> and <audio> tag.
