Outlook Calendar - Meeting invite email continues to be present even after responding to meeting invite. #349

Steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Create an agent with outlook tool
  2. Chat with the agent and ask it to accept a meeting request.

Once meeting request is accepted , notice that the Meeting invite email continues to be in Unread state I see the calendar show "accepted" state in calendar view as expected.

Expected Behavior: Meeting invite email should be deleted and presenr in the "Deleted Items" folder in this case.

Imo we should not change anything here. If I were a user of this tool, I would expect the invite email to remain in my inbox. This would be mixing the calendar tools with the mail tools, if we were to look for the invite email in the inbox and delete it for the user. I think that would just result in confusion, personally.
