Authentication fails when submitting changes to Node-Red

Most of the time (80% or even more) I submit a change to Node-Red, node-red-contrib-ewelink fails with the following payload:

{"error":406,"msg":"Authentication failed"}

The only way to fix the issue is restating node from the command line.

Would be good if the node-red-contrib-ewelink detects authentication failure and automatically recovers from it.
