"One user reports:
I can't post stories without attaching my default pseud. If I don't have a default pseud, and, when posting, I choose a pseud different from my fallback pseud, my fallback pseud is attached to the story. I can switch my default pseud back and forth, and, in that way, decide which pseud is attached to a story, if I make up my mind before I load the post new story page. But that is very not convenient. :(
However for me (tester not user) I can post with either pseud on the test archive ( r748 ). I'm not sure what the difference would be with the actual archive?"

Adding to this:
A user reports: I had a try at a pseud for some of my old, dodgy stories. And now those stories list both the author name originally posted on the story and the pseud I manually selected.
I believe that one of the perceived features of the pseud functionality is to be able to 'hide' certain stories from the default or 'main' pseud - to not have the pseuds openly affiliated with one another.
Is this something we want to incorporate as an additional feature?
No, we won't want this as an additional feature. This is designed to bring various identities together. If you want to hide them, create an entire second account.

While testing this based on user feedback:

I've just tried to upload a story under one of my pseuds in both beta (907) and test (914), and it's posting as if both my username and the selected pseud are authors. I have no problem with it showing up under the profile for my username, but when you're looking at the story there's no way to tell that both "jennifew" and "few" are the same person, rather than co-authors. It's confusing.
(Well. It would be if the pseud weren't a short form of the username, in this case.)

Added a new pseud, changed author to only the new pseud, save worked!
Marking as fixed and verified.
