What archive revision are you testing on? (See the revision number next to "An Archive Of Our Own: Extreme Alpha (rev. #)" in the header).

(also brought up in user feedback) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. log in

  1. post story
  2. create chapters What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Currently, the way the interface is designed to add chapters to a story is awkward to navigate and confusing to follow.

Having to edit the entire work to add a chapter to it is cumbersome. From the profile page or the main work page itself (when the author is logged in) would be ideal.

AFAIK there is a design in the works for a new work posting interface.

H2, is this still the case?

Right now ( r1537 ) you have the option to Add Chapter from the main work view.

Also, if the work is marked as chaptered and not complete, you get the Add Chapter link from the work blurb, too.

Marking as FixedButUnverified, since this is already deployed on Test. (On Beta too, but let's take it in small steps.)

All seems to be working as expected. Add Chapter option is available from main work view and from work blurb. If all chapters are added (ie. 6/6 making work complete), option to add from main work and work blurb disappears, but chapters can still be added from Edit Work page. Making FixedAndVerified!

Adding Release number to issues - new field :)

Release 0.7.0 currently on Test.

Due to be deployed to Beta on Sat 17th October 2009 subject to successful testing
