What archive revision are you testing on? (See the revision number next to "An Archive Of Our Own: Extreme Alpha (rev. #)" in the header).

rev 733 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. log in

  1. look at one of your own chaptered stories
  2. 'delete' link is white on white
  3. chapter summary and notes are not differentiated from chatper text What is the expected output? What do you see instead? First: the 'delete' link is in white on a white background - makes it invisible unless highlighted.

Second: The chapter summary and chapter notes have no segmentation, segregating markings to differentiate it from the chapter text itself. This is disorienting and confusing. I wouldn't have noticed it until I started reading if the text of my chapter wasn't italicized.

There needs to be a rule or the notes in boxes, something to separate them from the body of the text.

Related to this issue, I think.

When posting, the preview still displays the summary and notes without any differentiation from the story. However, it is not posted that way (posting works correctly).

If you come back to edit a previously posted work, preview displays the summary and notes without any differentiation from the story and posts them into the body of the work, besides posting them correctly in their appropriate boxes. Edits are made as well.

There's no visible way of fixing this (from the author POV), as the text only appears when you hit preview, and it isn't anywhere on the story box when one is editing. However, if you navigate away from the story and come back later, it displays correctly with the edits added and the summary and the notes only in their correct places.

The links to 'edit' and 'delete' on top every chapter are still white on white.

Summary and Notes on chapters now have headings - gorgeous!

The only thing that would be nice to add would be a rule < hr > between the end of the notes and the beginning of the text of the chapter.

I'll grab a screenshot to point out where.

My incredibly crooked red line is where a < hr > (even a short one - doesn't have to cross the entire page) would be helpful. Just something to indicate visually that 'Hey! The story part is right here folks!' =)

In preview: Summary and Notes are now differentiated (though, again, that partial rule between the notes and the beginning of the story text would be fabulous).

And the links are all black-on-white now in edit mode!

Summary and notes have headers and are separated from main body of the text and are in the correct locations and w/ the correct input, no duplications of series data.
