Contradictory warnings possible #377

What archive revision are you testing on? 733 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Post a new story.

  1. Select contradictory warnings. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? As it stands, it's possible to warn for all of the options given -- for example, you can label something extreme violence, major character death, noncon/rape, underage, and still also pick chooses not to warn or no warnings. It doesn't make sense that you can warn for a fic and still label it no warnings or chooses not to warn. I'd expect that giving warnings would make the no warnings options unavailable.

Actually, 'Choose not to warn' can be used in combination with other warnings, to indicate that, for example, a user has warned for Rape but not some of the other elements in our core warnings. But this does need some design attention.

Well, that's up to those who takes decisions if they/you want to have that option available in that way, but purely personally I think that makes it very difficult to understand how to use them properly and I don't like it. Maybe, if so, have two options - chose not to warn at all and chose not to warn some. Hmm ... Well, I leave that to the designers.
