What archive revision are you testing on? 739

User reports that on the Works page ( http://testarchive.transformativeworks.org/en/works ), the low contrast between the grey color of visited story title links and the grey background can cause difficulties for users with sight impairments. Low contrast between the author link and background color is also an issue, though worse due to the smaller deafult text size.

This is true of most lists of stories (eg on author pages). Further examination suggests that this is also on issue on chapter headings (eg http://testarchive.transformativeworks.org/en/works/70 ), where the chapter title is black on a dark-grey background.

All the grey makes it hard for me to see what's going on, and what's important. It also makes me uninterested in clicking on things, because it's sort of deadening, honestly.
The new dark line under the story titles helps when I'm looking at a specific listing, but on a skim, they actually make me not even see the titles
mousing over them makes [the titles] turn almost the same color as the bar they're in -- but any tags under my cursor pop out in red, suggesting that they're the most important elements there
Since the works and their authors are what the archive is all about, could we echo the archive colors for them? Put them in (bold) white text on a red bar, like the header bar... Or at least in (bold) red text on plain white, so they really stand out and draw people's attention?
font sizes on title/author and tags should be reversed, so the supporting story information is less prominent than the story and author themselves (this is also mentioned in issue # 397)
could the box around the story listing be a thin red line, instead of a thin grey line?

AFAIK this is all obsolete since the completely restyled works pages came in.
