7 years ago This will be the next round of label editing done by the regions, as was last done for v0.5.0. Instructions for this were last sent out in Oct 2015, but to recap:
- Each language region has its own locale file which handles the majority of the user displayed text
- These can be found in
/locale/{{nn_NN}}/LC_MESSAGES/django.po. - These are text files, that can be edited via GitHub web interface.
- These files are initially auto-generated from the codebase (so they only refresh when I prompt them to).
- The aim is to amend the "msgstr" lines with the correct user facing text.
DO NOT edit the "msgid" lines, as these related to references in the codebase.
Typically these updates happen towards the end of each development cycle so as to reduce the amount of times they need scanning through for changes.
