Ghost toolbar in webapp (CSS issue) #213

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clicking on a link from an iUi-ized page to another iUi-ized page in a
webapp (I can't use target="_blank" or the second page opens in Safari)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to see the second page correctly. Instead, a ghost toolbar hovers
below the one on the second page.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
I've created a copy of "iui.css" and named it "iui_sel.css". This is used
on the first page. I've tried tweaking "iui_sel.css" to remove the toolbar
so it doesn't appear as a ghost on the second page. I'm not very good with
CSS, so could someone help, or give me some suggestions?

I just removed the toolbar <div>. Now I need to figure out how to remove the
blank
space where the toolbar should be.

I"m not sure what you are asking here, but it sounds to me like you should be
asking for support on the Google
iPhoneWebDev group rather than posting an issue.

Just guessing but I think you have 2 complete pages with toolbar and content.
And on
the second page you most likely have a selected="true" - please read the
examples
carefully, they will show you how to do it.

If its really a bug, write again, im closing this issue to keep the tracker
clean.
Cheers
Max
