external pages don't come up on latest iphone safari; works on ipdad, safari OS X #277

links to content from external pages don't work anymore on latest iphone: Phone 
OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.

 http://wacbiz.com/mobile/

   <ul id="home" title="Music" selected="true">
        <li><a href="artists.php">Artists</a></li>
        <li><a href="#settings">Settings</a></li>
        <li><a href="#about">About</a></li>
    </ul>

Above link to artists.php does not work anymore on iphone; it used to. 
Works fine on
Intel Mac OS X 10_5_8; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.19.4 
iPad OS 3_2_2 AppleWebKit/531.21.10

What is the expected output? 
Expected output  is a standard UL list of artists

What do you see instead?
What I'm getting now, on latest iphone OS, is nothing -- page doesn't change.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iui-0-1.40-dev2
Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) 
AppleWebKit/533.17.9
