8 years ago The problem could be that depsy does not know our github repo because it cannot find it in the pypi metadata (as described in Known Limitations).
Does depsy parse a specific field in the pypi metadata? What is the best way to add this information?

8 years ago We added a link to the github site to the setup.py (see commit above) but depsy has still not updated the committer/author list.
It is not clear to me how often depsy updates or if, infact this project is still maintained. If you bill yourself as a site that should help with alternative evaluation of researchers' output then I think you also have a responsibility to update or at least to address concerns of users.
Similar to #35 : For MDAnalysis/mdanalysis, the depsy report for mdanalysis only credits the founding author Naveen Michaud-Agrawal (who is listed as the author on PyPi because of the impracticality to lists everyone there) instead of the whole team of contributors.
Depsy looks great, and if it would help to include a specially formatted AUTHORS.txt file (see #16) we would certainly consider it.
