Looks like gitlo doesn't sync checklists from Trello to Github, though github does support checklists in markdown (- [ ] item).
A checklist in Github gets synced as plaintext in a comment. But items in checklists can be checked in github, and this does not get synced.
Looks like edits to Github comments are not synced to Trello, but edits to Trello comments are synced to Github.
