Right now, the camera (view) always rotates around the origin point (0, 0, 0). Add another camera mode that will rotate the view around the mesh center point or the current view direction.
Press "Shift+R" to toggle between zero vs. mesh center camera rotation modes. Hold ALT and right-click a vertex to set it as the rotation center.
