What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.only 3g connection available
2.3g 2.5g enabled in settings, trying to sign in 
3.Error message no active network available

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Error message no active network available

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
IMS 1.0296
Froyo 
HTC Hero

Do you have the same issue with the previous version (1.0.292)?
Could you please send the log using "Log Collector" from the market.

Ok. The problem comes from the latest version (1.0.296). I will replace it 
right now.

i'm also having the same problem... it worked fine on WiFi connection but not 
on 3G network

Version 1.0.298 should solve the problem. You can now connect to 3G or 4G 
networks.
