Location Search: Distinguish Washington State vs Washington DC #314

Washington state appears as "Washington, United States" and Washington DC appears as "District of Columbia, United States." Could we distinguish the state as "Washington state, United States" and make DC searchable under "Washington", as well?

agree with this; I tried to find DC earlier and was having trouble since i was looking for Washington, DC

I'd say from the API when it generates the location label.
