firefox tab title is not updated when tab isnt in focus #56

steps to reproduce 1)open firefox and say a terminal in two tabs side by side 2)navigate to some page (preferably some slow webpage) in firefox and immediately change to terminal 3)navigate back to firefox (after a reasonable time for the webpage to load)

the title will still be the title will not have changed to the new webpage

it seems the title updates only when firefox is the focused tab.

I believe this applies to any window. I have this issue with multiple terminal windows. If I open, say, three of those at the same moment, the focus is shifted from the first two before zsh finishes loading and writes the pwd to title, giving the attached picture.

@outfoxxed what do you think? Is this something which can be fixed on the hy3 side, or is vanilla Hyprland also affected?

Its likely hy3 side, but it might just be anything with a hidden window. If hyprland groups do it too its a hyprland bug, if not its a hy3 bug.

  1. I observe the same behavior with a title inside the waybar - it is in sync with the title on a tab
  2. When I launch hyprland without hy3, title in waybar is always updated

Which leads me to believe it is indeed on the hy3 side.

@outfoxxed can you take a look please, when you have the time? This issue unfortunately impacts my workflow :disappointed:
